Questions we get before someone commits

Will using an EA violate my prop firm's rules?+

Most firms allow EAs but restrict behaviors (and sometimes third-party EA capital allocation). GoldFunded provides Low Risk (no grid) and High Risk (grid). Confirm your firm’s current EA policy yourself.

Which brokers and platforms does it work on?+

GoldFunded runs on MT4 and MT5, on any broker that offers XAUUSD with standard execution. Most prop firm platforms are built on one of these two terminals.

Do I need a VPS?+

Not required. The EA needs your terminal running to manage open trades; a VPS keeps the terminal online if your computer sleeps or loses connection.

What happens when my 14-day demo ends?+

The EA simply stops opening new trades. Nothing is billed automatically. You choose whether to move to a lifetime license.

How do I install the EA after I get my license?+

We email you a download link and license key. Then follow our Setup Guide - allow both WebRequest URLs (https://api.goldfunded.pro and https://nfs.faireconomy.media), copy the file into MetaTrader, and attach it to your gold chart. Takes about 5-10 minutes.

What is High Risk vs Low Risk?+

Low Risk = single trade mode - no grid / no martingale averaging. High Risk = grid / martingale-style recovery with multiple positions and higher drawdown. You select the mode in EA inputs. Details: EA Settings and Risk Disclosure.

What timeframe and hours does the EA use?+
